The universe of miso
Miso, a national food that has been a part of Japan's cuisine for centuries. Miso, which could be called the progenitor of fermented foods, is like the universe itself.
This was created as an introduction for a miso-making workshop to be held in the Netherlands.
味噌は、何世紀にもわたり日本の食文化に欠かせない国民食です。発酵食品の祖とも言える味噌は、まさに宇宙そのもの！
この作品はオランダで行われる味噌作りワークショップのオープニングアニメーションとして制作されました。

Ritme van eten
Various languages in the countries of the world. This animation is inspired by the sounds and rhythms unique to language. Everyone eats no matter where they live in the world.
I have collected the voices that were talked about on the theme of eating. Participants are my family, friends, and classmates from my Dutch lessons. I will deliver the languages of 6 countries in the voices of 10 people.

このアニメーションは言語特有の音とリズムからインスピレーションを得ています。世界中のどこに住んでいても誰もが食事をします。
私は食事をテーマにした会話や声を集めました。参加者は私の家族や友人、そしてオランダ語の授業で一緒だったクラスメートです。10人の声で、6か国の言語をお届けします。
日本の文化庁の支援を受けて制作されました。

Olympic in the kitchen
Under the theme of "Olympics at Home," a series of fictional sporting events unfolds throughout the rooms of a single house.
Conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the Tokyo 2020 Olympics were postponed for a year, this relay animation project reimagines the Olympic spirit within a domestic setting.
The creative process was live-streamed over 24 hours as seven artists produced and filmed their sequences one after another, ultimately completing the work together.
This project was supported by a grant from the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs.
「おうちでオリンピック」をテーマに家の各部屋を舞台に架空のスポーツイベントが次々と繰り広げられる。
新型コロナウイルス感染症のパンデミックにより東京2020オリンピックが1年延期された時期に構想されたこのリレーアニメーションプロジェクトは、家という空間の中でオリンピックを再解釈したもの。
制作過程は24時間にわたってライブ配信され、7人のアーティストがそれぞれ担当シーンを制作・撮影し、最終的に共同で作品を完成させた。
本プロジェクトは、文化庁の支援を受けて実施された。

A collection of very short animated films created during a period of transition in my life.
The works span the years between a journey to Thailand in 2012 and my move to the Netherlands in 2015.
While I had long dreamed of living abroad, relocating also awakened an unexpected sense of nostalgia for Japan. This collection reflects that curious tension between anticipation and longing.
短い短いアニメーションのオムニバスです。 2012年のタイ旅行、その後2015年にオランダ移住してからしばらく経つまでの間に作った短い作品達をまとめました。 移住するまでは海外に住む事を楽しみにしていたのですが、いざ移住してみると日本が恋しくなる。我ながらおかしなものです。

Two sprouts emerge side by side.
A creature known as Nu chooses to care for only one of them.
The neglected sprout lays bare its emotions, exactly as they are, and fulfills its life until the very end.
隣り合って生まれた二つの芽。
生物ヌーは、そのうちの一つだけを世話することにした。
顧みられなかった芽はありのままの感情をむき出しにし、
命を全うした。
